TBC Distribution is committed to offering products with a low environment burden to contribute towards global sustainability. Environmentally friendly chemical products are compliant to the following ten point environmental criteria*:
- Highly concentrated
- Australian made
- Biodegradable
- Not classified as harmful or toxic via ingestion, inhalation or skin contact
- Not classified as hazardous to the aquatic environment
- Not classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to the reproductive system
- No heavy metals
- Packaged in recyclable packaging
- Not aerosol products or ozone depleting chemicals
- Low in phosphorous content
Other environmentally friendly products include hand soap made from 100% naturally renewable ethanol, recycled toilet paper and paper towels, bio-degradable sanitary units, and recyclable crockery.
